If you are a reviewer or editor of the journal, you can click here to download the Manuscript Reviewing Checklist.

Role of Associate/Regional Editors:

The general role of associate editors in academic journals is to work with authors and reviewers. However, it can be listed as follows:
1. To solicit interesting work they see at meetings, etc.
2. To identify qualified reviewers.
3. To assess the comments, suggestions, and recommendations for publication provided by reviewers, in order to determine if the manuscript should be published.

In the case that an author requests a particular Associate Editor, that Associate Editor will be solicited to provide a list of 2-3 potential reviewers (Task NO. 2). The editor then works with author and reviewers to make the manuscript acceptable for publication and will provide the Editor-In-Chief with a recommendation to help him on the final decision (i.e accepting, or rejecting the manuscript). In the case that an editor introduce an author to the journal, he/she is the one who do all things to accept or reject the work, however, the Editor-In-Chief will make the final decision by considering the editor's recommendation.
